Prof.
Roberts is the greatest thing that ever happened to Biostats at
McGill. He makes a generally boring topic into something very interesting
and approachable.
Dr.
Roberts is the best prof Ive had at McGill
He was unbelievably
approachable, cared a lot about whether or not the students understood
the material; he was flexible with the lectures when students didnt
understand a difficult part.
I dont have one negative
thing to say - hes definitely a model prof!!
Excellent
teaching skills. One of the best math teachers I ever had: enthusiastic,
knows his material, interacts with the students during lectures.
Awesome.
Dr.
Roberts is the best teacher Ive had at McGill. I love his
teaching style and how he tests the material covered and there are
no unpleasant surprises.
I
found Prof. Roberts to be a truly excellent professor. He was always
smiling and enthusiastic each class and demonstrated a respect for
the students and their questions that I have rarely seen. It was
easy to learn with his organized, fun way of teaching.
Mark
Roberts is an excellent instructor, one of the best Ive had
in 3 and a half years of study at McGill. Hes enthusiastic,
very knowledgeable and interesting.
I
have never had a Prof use PowerPoint so effectively or be so accessible
outside the class.
The
examples used were based on reality and this was really nice. ...
In fact, this is my definition of a perfect course.
Professor
Roberts is amazing! Extremely helpful and always accessible. ...
He explains concepts clearly and breaks the material down to a very
understandable level. I thought I would hate this course (because
I dont like math) but it has been great, and quite helpful
in other areas (and in the future I am sure). I would recommend
this course highly, as well as any course taught by Professor Mark
Roberts.
